Monthly President’s Letter: October 2024
Dear Community Members and Builders,
This month, we have been in our communities supporting them through the distribution of Emergency and Annual Grants. Thank you to our Communications Committee members for organizing our 2024 Granting Days. I had the opportunity to participate in the Central Texas Granting Day. It was uplifting to hear from our nonprofit partners and see them networking to work to support our vulnerable community members.
Thank you to our nonprofit partners for their hard work. You can learn more about the nonprofits supported on our website.
I had the opportunity to speak at the AGC Construction HR & Workforce 24 Conference and share how through TRF Camp Build we build and empower Gen Alpha while supporting the needs of the construction industry’s current workforce by providing opportunities to build community and impact by teaching the next generation.
I also had the opportunity to visit with our friends at the Los Angeles Electrical Training Institute. I am excited to announce that sponsorship has officially opened for our 2025 TRF Camp Build! If you know of any companies that want to support our efforts to build the next generation of construction professionals, please share our TRF Camp Build page. All sponsorship opportunities will close on March 31, 2025.
Our volunteers continued to demonstrate our We CARE core value. Our Temple volunteers went to work on the farm at Elizabeth Farm for Feed My Sheep. The QA/QC team recently conducted an impromptu Service Day while at their Annual Quality Summit in San Antonio sharing 22 meals. We will continue to share Service Day activities in the monthly newsletter. Please join us in positively impacting our community.
Thank you for supporting The Rosendin Foundation. I encourage you to support our efforts by sharing of yourself whether through service, sharing your knowledge, or listening to someone in need. Aesop said it best, “no act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” Please be kind.
In Community,
Jolsna Thomas
President, The Rosendin Foundation
