The Rosendin Pflugerville volunteers did double duty this month by making Meals from the Heart in the form of hearty chili and cornbread for the families receiving support at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas. Thank you to our volunteers Nate Upole, Barbara King, Jacob Kim, Ronnette “Ronnie” Wongus, and Nick Duff for sharing your time and kitchen talents with the clients at RMHC of Central Texas by making a meal from the heart! Coming back to a nice warm bowl of chili and cornbread after worrying about your sick child or brother/sister is a welcome relief.
